Scoutworks, what is it exactly?

Well it is essentially another youth membership system that is competing with OSM (Online Scout Manager).

Before boring you with text, we recommend watching this Youtube video that shows you what you’ll see. This video was put together by our Scout Leader Josh. We apologise for the poor quality in the image and sound but it should give you an insight to what you’ll see.

Once you are logged in, you’ll be met with the main dashboard. You’ll see “My Children” , “Upcoming Events” , “RSVPs required”, a brief calendar and “Payments Awaiting Approval”. Also, on the Left hand side you’ll see “Parent Dashboard” , ” My Children” , ” My Children’s Events” , ” Badge Progress” and ” My Finances”

My Children – You’ll be able to see all the children you have in the group.

Upcoming events –  You’ll be able to see all events coming up and sign up to them, keep an eye out for Camps and trips here.

RSVPs Required – This is where you’ll be asked to say if your child is going to camps and the weekly meetings.

Payments Awaiting Approval –  This is where any upcoming payments will appear.

Badge Progress –  You’ll be able to see what badges your child is working on, has been awarded and ones that have been completed but not awarded. you’ll also be able to submit evidence for badges done at home.

My Finances –  this is where you’ll see any money related stuff from gift aid declaration to subs and one off payments.

Any Questions please speak to our lead experts on this system, these are Josh our scout Leader and Andrew our Deputy Group Scout Leader/Acting Treasurer
